Mission
The Acadian Group is a software development and technology consulting company focused on delivering technology solutions to the real estate industry.  Acadian is comprised of experienced investment and technology professionals who leverage a unique combination of capabilities to transform real estate investment management into a dynamic, integrated, data-driven activity.  Acadian's goal is to revolutionize the way lenders, fund managers, REITs, asset managers, pension funds, private equity firms, government agencies, commercial banks, insurance companies and other real estate owners and investment firms interact with data and exchange information.

Management Team
The Acadian Group has assembled an accomplished team of real estate and technology professionals with extensive backgrounds in real estate acquisition, asset and fund management, process design and implementation, software development, report design and project management.

Real estate is a very specialized asset class. Understanding the fundamentals of acquisition, asset management and risk management is not a simple endeavor and integrating this knowledge to a software application presents an even larger challenge. Acadian has captured the expertise needed to address these challenges in a team of professionals that have the hands-on experience in these disciplines. Acadian's team is dedicated to designing, developing and implementing investment management software to provide the framework for efficient portfolio formation and management.

Thomas M. Speroni
Product Strategy

Thomas Speroni is a Principal at The Acadian Group in charge of product strategy.  Prior to The Acadian Group, Mr. Speroni was a senior vice president at Centerline Capital Group and headed the technology development team that created the platform for managing over 1,200 multifamily assets and over 120 institutional equity funds.  Mr. Speroni was previously head of Centerline's financial planning and capital budgeting team.  Prior to Centerline, Mr. Speroni was a Software Architect at Avanade, a consulting firm founded as a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft.  At Avanade, he developed enterprise applications for Fortune 500 clients.  Mr. Speroni holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

Aaron W. Stevens
Business Development

Aaron Stevens is a Principal at The Acadian Group and is responsible for business development.  Prior to The Acadian Group, Mr. Stevens was head of the Investor Advisory Group at Centerline Capital Group and was responsible for managing a $9.9 billion portfolio of institutional real estate equity funds.  Before his work in the Investor Advisory Group, Mr. Stevens led an acquisition group at Centerline, and managed the acquisition and structuring of real estate transactions with a total value in excess of $1.6 billion.  Mr. Stevens received a Bachelor of Science with honors and distinction from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration with honors from Columbia Business School.

Hisham Baz
Product Development

Hisham Baz is a Principal at The Acadian Group in charge of product development.  Mr. Baz is an enterprise architect and project manager with a successful track record planning and executing complex projects.  He provides technical and thought leadership for building distributed software applications and integration solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.  Prior to The Acadian Group, Mr. Baz served as Software Architect for Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft.  Mr. Baz brings over 12 years of experience designing software solutions for a wide range of clients that include PacifiCare, Centerline Capital Group, Fleishman-Hillard, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Microsoft, Shell Oil, Accenture, Pacific Gas and Electric, Becton Dickenson, Hewlett Packard, Lions Gate Entertainment, Smithsonian Natural History Museum, Pacific Life, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, and Taser.
